We love our pets and our plants over here at Longfellow’s and we want to make sure you can enjoy your plants without worrying about your fur babies! In store we have many plants marked with a “Pet Safe!” sticker, but if you’re ever curious please feel free to ask. Here is a select list of houseplants that are considered non-toxic as well as toxic to cats & dogs when consumed.

Please Note: Even “safe”, non-toxic plants can cause irritation and side effects if consumed, especially in excess. It is always advised to monitor pets around plants to ensure they will not try to consume the plant.
