Care Tips:
Light: Calandiva prefers bright, indirect light. They do well when placed back a bit from a south facing window. You can also add a sheer curtain to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sun.
Water: Water when the top inch or two of soil has dried out.
Soil and fertilizer: Plant in a well-draining, all-purpose potting mix. Fertilize every few weeks throughout the growing season (spring-summer) and about once a month during the off season.
Fun Facts:
-Produces beautiful, long-lasting flowers once or twice per year on average.
-For best results remove spent flowers as they go past.
-There is a variety of ‘kalanchoe’ which looks and acts the same, but produces a single bloom (not double)
